WHAT'S YOUR PLANT NAME?
Alocasia 'Jacklyn'
TELL US ABOUT THE CONDITIONS YOUR PLANT IS IN, YOUR PLANT CARE ROUTINE, AND YOUR PLANT CONCERNS.
My plant usually gets sunlight in the morning, approximately 1-2 metres away from the window. I've had her for about four months, watering it once per week. I have never fertilized her and repotted her in Spring. I'm concerned about her droopy leaves.

GENEROSA DIAGNOSIS
Regarding your Alocasia Jacklyn, here’s what we can advise:
1. Light
Alocasia plants prefer bright indirect light. Since yours is 1-2 meters from an east-facing window, it’s likely not getting enough light, now that we are getting into the winter.
2. Watering
Watering your plant once a week when it’s 1-2 meters from an east-facing window might be too much, especially in winter. Less light means slower growth, and the plant needs less water. In winter, with cloudy days, the light in our homes is much lower.
3. Leaves with yellow edges
Yellow edges on the leaves usually happen because of watering problems, most likely from overwatering. While the yellowed leaves won’t turn green again, it’s important to adjust how often you water so that new leaves grow healthy.
GENEROSA ADVISE AND GUIDELINES
Step 1: If you want to keep your Alocasia in the same spot, adjust the watering schedule. Only water when the potting soil is dry to the touch (even on the inside!). If you can move your Alocasia to a different spot, move it as close as possible to a window. Giving your Alocasia more light will help it get through the winter better.
Step 2: Use our PLANT FOOD to promote greener leaves. Add 10 drops of the concentrated solution to a 100 ml of water and mist the leaves fortnightly.

Step 3: Add a small amount of our SOIL BOOSTER on top of the soil and gently mix it in (sprinkle it don’t spoon it!). This will enhance the overall health of your Alocasia. Repeat this step at the beginning of each season.

Step 4: Once a month, clean the leaves with our LEAF CLEANSER. Dust on the leaves blocks sunlight and makes the plant less healthy.
